One hour north from the capital Bogotá, is the sandstone headland where rock climbing started in Colombia, about 40 years ago.

Nowadays this park has more than 300 routes, that go from 5.6 to 5.14 (5 to 8b+? French) and routes up to 4 pitches long (around 130 metres height).

In the upper part of Güita (in front of the rocks) you will find this beautiful valley. There you will find about 50 routes, mostly sports climbing ones, and up to 20 to 24 m high. This rock are located in private lands and sometimes there are difficulties to acces, specially at the weekends. Like in all places we recommend you respect the people and animals that you may find there.

How to get there:
You can take a bus (Flota) ALIANZA, which leaves from the Portal Norte, of the Transmilenio bus system in Bogotá, and they will leave you on the entrance to the rocks (Entrada a las Rocas) in about 50 mins. From there you have to walk for only 5 mins. by the railway to find the beginning of the headland, which height increases as you walk along it.
